Wireless InSite's core features include X3D propagation model, MIMO beamforming and spatial multiplexing, comms systems analysis, Engineered Electromagnetic Surfaces (EES), diffuse scattering, fast ray-based methods, and a suite of empirical propagation models. WaveFarer's core features include near-field propagation method, targed ray casting, diffuse scattering, user defined antennas, and scripts for chirp waveforms and range-Doppler.

The Professional version adds Triple Path Geodesic, Hata/COST Hata, Vertical Plane Urban Propagation, Engineered Electromagnetic Surfaces (EES), Diffuse Scattering, and more. The MIMO version adds a MIMO Antenna Designer, MIMO Simulation Optimization, MIMO Beamforming/Spatial Multiplexing, MIMO Channel Outputs, and MIMO Throughput/Comms Analysis
What versions are available for XFdtd?
XFdtd has three versions: Standard, Professional, and MIMO. All versions include 3D CAD Modeling, Parameterization and Scripting, CAD and PCB Import, XACT Accurate Cell Technology, and an Electrostatic Solver. The Professional version adds Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), Biological Thermal Sensor, VariPose Mesh Repositioning, and Birdcage Tool. The MIMO version adds a Schematic Editor, Superposition, Array Optimization, and Circuit Element Optimization.
What is VariPose?
VariPose is a specialized capability in XFdtd that repositions human biological mesh for bioelectromagnetic applications including MRI & communication devices. What is Rotman Lens Designer?
Rotman Lens Designer (RLD) is a tool included in our XFdtd software for the design, synthesis, and analysis of Rotman Lenses and their variants.
How long is the free trial?
The standard trial period is 30 days. You can request a free trial by contacting the sales team.
How long does it take to get my free trial ?
You will hear back from our EM Simulation experts in 1-2 business days. Our team will do some research on your request and will prepare a personalized demonstration for your needs, qualify you for a free trial, or create pricing recommendations. Please note: Delivery of trial licenses is subject to governmental export control regulations that are based on your country and product of interest.
Does Remcom do electromagnetic consulting?
We offer two types of EM Consulting; Commercial Consulting and Government Contracting.
